Before requesting SQL Accounting support

Prepare your software version, company name, error message, when the issue started and the steps that reproduce it. Tell us whether one user or every user is affected. Remove customer and employee details from screenshots. Share passwords, remote-access codes or database files only through a support channel agreed with our team.

SQL Account setup and migration

1. Confirm scope: identify the licence, users, selected modules and desktop or cloud deployment.
2. Prepare records: agree the company settings, customer and supplier lists, stock records and opening balances to bring across.
3. Protect the existing system: arrange a backup and a restore check before installation, upgrades or data changes.
4. Test a workflow: use a test company for a sale, purchase, receipt and report. Compare opening totals with the approved records.
5. Prepare users: agree training, permissions, the cutover date and who signs off the first live transactions.

SQL account renewal: what are you renewing?

A software maintenance renewal, a cloud subscription and a support service are different items. Have your original quotation, product edition and expiry information ready. Ask us to confirm the renewal period, covered users, updates, support scope, hosting charges and any upgrade costs in writing. The effect of expiry depends on the licence and service terms.

SQL Account free download and training

Use E Stream’s official SQL Account and SQL Payroll demo downloads to evaluate the software. The download page labels these as demo licences; it is not an offer of free production use. Existing customers should check version compatibility and backup arrangements before upgrading.
