Another Policy Revision?!

As of 14 July 2026, there are new adjustments to the Lindung 24 Jam (24-Hour Protection Scheme) Liability Release Declaration form.

Effective 8 July 2026
SOCSO (PERKESO) has revised the Lindung 24 Jam policy from a mandatory scheme to a voluntary one.

Key Points Below👇
✅ Local Malaysian Employees
You may choose whether to participate in the scheme voluntarily.
❌ Foreign Workers
Participation remains compulsory for the time being.

⚠️ Submission Window for Voluntary Participation Selection:
13 July 2026 – 31 August 2026

Employees who wish to opt out can submit the Liability Release Declaration, and the procedure is straightforward.

Simply log in using the “Log Masuk” button to begin your submission.
New users without an account
Register a new account first before proceeding to the next stage.

SQL Payroll User Setup Guide
Companies running SQL Payroll also need to update employee records accordingly.
Step-by-Step Operation:
Maintain Employee → Select Local Staff → Edit → Payroll Info → Untick the Non-Employment Injury Scheme checkbox → Save
Done! Your payroll records will now be synced.

⚠️ Important Reminder for HR Practitioners
Do not only make changes inside SQL Payroll.
The official participation status must be declared directly to PERKESO via their portal to comply with regulations.

Recommended Compliance Checklist:
✔ Keep a physical copy of the signed employee declaration form for filing
✔ Complete the opt-out submission on the PERKESO Lindung Portal
✔ Sync the updated status in your SQL Payroll system
