The first step in implementing SQL Payroll Software is to key in all employee info, it’s quite challenging if you have a lot of employees. But, if you have all their info in excel format, SQL Payroll System Excel Import will definitely ease your job and get you to start processing monthly payroll faster.

First, download the Excel Template from this link at the end of this blog, fill up all the information, and save as a CSV file.

Then, you need to turn on the SQL Payroll Data Import Module. It is an additional module, so please do the Employee Data Import before you activate your SQL Payroll Software.  Just go to File ->Customize SQL Payroll Modules -> Tick on Data Import->Ok.

Go to Human Resource ->Maintain Employee ->More->Batch Editor->Import data-> Click 3 Dot Button-> choose the CSV File->Match all the Field Column to respective field. Change From Row to 2->Click Finish.

After finish import, click Close, then click Save, then click Refresh. All employee details already imported into SQL Payroll System, you can click on any employee to Edit their info.
